Monument (ashiginunohi) of Ashiginu (the origin of silk fabrics)

Because "Tottori-go, Takeno-gun, Tango Province" and silk fabrics "Ashiginu (the origin of silk fabrics)" (ashiginu) written down are stored in The Shosoin Treasure Repository of Nara Prefecture in 739 (Tenpyo 11), honoring monument is erected here and thanks ancient people, and Kensho-sai to pray for development of Tango (sputum) crepe is performed.
